Graduated from the Graduate Institute of Applied Media Studies at the National Taiwan University of Arts in Taiwan. He is good at capturing the language of hyper-reality in real life. As a director and a photographer, he thinks it is important to keep a rational and sharp observation of the situations in reality and to be sensitive to the subtle invisibility of the photographed and the social circumstances. He hopes to transform such invisibility into narrative images, presenting the feelings of the photographed characters in the ways of hyper-reality or magical realism.
