Synopsis
Why do they run away? To make more money or to pursue better job opportunities? Through the accounts of the two “runaway” migrant workers, the film shows the highs and lows of their lives by telling their stories. They give up their legal status as migrant workers and take risks to work illegally. By spending their youth in Taiwan, they try to give their family a better life and change their fate.

Director Statement
I have some familiarity with the migrant workers. They are like my parents, who come a foreign country with great courage and adventurous spirit, working hard and striving for a better future for their families and children.
