A-shan and his father used to be hunters in a tribe. They would spend their days baiting traps on the mountainside for unsuspecting animals. But now, A-shan has to work as a migrant laborer to build hiking trails on his ancestors' land. It won't be animals that will cross the trails, but visitors from the world below.
The film revolves around three generations of A-shan's family, documenting every detail of their daily life.
