Synopsis
Confronting the fear of death and seeking meaning in life have always been issues at the heart of man's deepest philosophical discourse. The agony of a sudden catastrophe resulting in widespread loss of life is used to depict vividly the preciousness of other lives. On September 21, 1999 a major earthquake struck Taiwan and caused innumerable casualties. Many families were torn apart, and survivors were afflicted with terrible pain. But there's more to life...
