Partly inspired by the Russian painter Kasimir Malevich's minimalist artworks,Suprematist Kapital serves as a symbol for the history of capital. The film also draws its inspirations from the fighting spirits when human struggles for resources in the age of oil production limits. Suprematist Kapital was born of the desire to create a visual artwork that could be displayed on many different-sized mediums regardless of resolution, e.g., theater screens, mobile devices, ipod's, etc. This piece is a collaboration of CHEN Yin-Ju and James T. Hong.
